I know why women make $0.72 for every dollar men make
And this is why we make .72 for every $1 a man makes….We have been taught since birth to settle for less than others. To take the scraps and be happy. To go along to get along. To pay ourselves last. We seem to lack the Enoughness to demand that we be treated and paid equally. We have learned to settle and are reminded what happens to women who don’t.
Perfect conditions for women entrepreneurship to thrive
Since 2017 then I’ve had the pleasure to mentor close to 100 entrepreneurs. There are some amazing things happening here that are being driven by women! So many that it’s probably time to think of the word “accelerator” as “accelHERator” especially as it pertains to Racine. I’m not saying that there aren’t some great companies being created by men but when I look objectively and qualitatively at the results of each, the women-owned businesses are gaining some serious traction. I have a few theories about why this is the case but I think the key attributes that make these entrepreneurs successful are the following.
